DailyHaiku Cycle 11 is now live, with a special set of seven haiku by our Invited Poet Jim Kacian, president of The Haiku Foundation and owner of Red Moon Press. Jim's poems blend sensory and structural devices to form landscapes in the mind of the reader, both natural and internal. We hope you enjoy the set!
We'd also like to extend a huge welcome our new contributor team: Melissa Allen, Adelaide B. Shaw, Sandra Simpson, Claire Everett, Michele L. Harvey, and Laura Garrison. Their poems will begin appearing on April 17th; stay tuned for what we know will be a summer of stunning haiku!
We have completed the selection of our Cycle 11 contributors. First, we want to extend a huge thank-you to everyone who submitted for the upcoming cycle. We were floored by a record number of high quality, publishable submissions. For this cycle in particular it was very challenging to select the final six contributors. The new contributor team will be announced on April 10th with the launch of Cycle 11, alongside a week of poems by our Cycle 11 Invited Poet.
As of this afternoon, we have responded to all received submissions; if you did not hear back from us, please let us know. Thanks once more to all our submitters, and all the best!
