DailyHaiku would like to congratulate our co-editor, Nicole Pakan, who is competing today at the national level in the 2009 CBC Poetry Faceoff. Nicole was the winner of the Edmonton regional competition, and moved on to compete against nine other poets from across Canada. The winner of the CBC National Faceoff will be determined today by an online voting process, and announced on Friday, May 1st. We wish Nicole the best of luck!
