Peter Joseph Gloviczki

Peter Joseph Gloviczki lives in Minnesota. His poems appear, or are forthcoming, in The Christian Science Monitor, 32 Poems, Margie, Modern Haiku, Acorn, Frogpond: The Journal of The Haiku Society of America and elsewhere. Peter's chapbook, Drinking River Water, was published in 2008 by Poetry Midwest.

Kelly Shepherd

Kelly Shepherd is fascinated by anthropology and the natural world. He is currently teaching English in Seoul, South Korea. Kelly participated in the 2007 Edmonton Poetry Festival's Poets Across Borders, and in 2003 Iceland's Publishing Beyond Borders released his poetry chapbook Circumambulations. He was also a contributor to DailyHaiku's first season. On his website, Kelly attempts to document some of his reading, writing, and travel experiences.

Ann K. Schwader

Ann K. Schwader is a Wyoming native writing in suburban Colorado . Her haiku have appeared in big sky, Modern Haiku, Heron's Nest, frogpond, bottle rockets, Roadrunner, Scifaikuest, and Simply Haiku. Wendy Visser

Wendy Visser is the co-author of haiku by two launched in March, 2008. Her haiku have been published nationally and internationally, and she has been a former contributor to DailyHaiku. Her full poetry collection, Riding A Wooden Horse received the WRAC best book award in 2007 and in May, 2008, she was a recipient of The Bernice Adams Cultural Awards for her promotion of the Arts in the Communications and Literary field.

Linda Pilarski

Linda Pilarski is Canada Research Chair in Biomedical Nanotechnology at the University of Alberta. She has published extensively in the scientific literature and has recently applied her skills to haiku and haiga. She has lived and worked in the USA, Australia and Canada. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in DailyHaiku, the World Haiku Association Haiga Contest, Modern Haiga, Haigaonline, Simply Haiku, Acorn and Wisteria.

Nicole Pakan, Co-Editor, DailyHaiku, is an active member of the Edmonton poetry and art communities as a poet, painter, candlesti... er... um, printmaker, potter and photographer. By day she masquerades as the communication manager for a non-profit organization; by night she can be caught flirting with words—frequenting the Raving Poets and Stroll of Poets readings. Nicole participates annually in the Roar Spoken Word Festival, the Edmonton Poetry Festival, the Edmonton Stroll of Poets Haven Series, and the Cortex multimedia exhibit. Patrick M. Pilarski, Co-Editor, DailyHaiku, lives in Edmonton with his oolong tea and far too many tea pots. Michael Gravel, Past-Editor and Founder, DailyHaiku, is a writer based in Edmonton, Alberta. He's a founder and the frontman of Edmonton’s Raving Poets, and co-founder of The Roar Spoken Word Festival. He is a freelance writer, web designer, and professional presenter. In December 2007, his life was nearly ended by a pulmonary embolism. In response he authored the chapbook, The Fast Places (Red Nettle, 2008). He lives in a wee house with his wife, stepdaughter, and two incorrigible hounds. He lives to write, code, and spend time with his family.
